Toddler

At Venn Boulevard Nursery, we believe that children learn best through play, and we provide a rich and diverse range of activities that are tailored to each child’s age and stage of development. Our approach is centered around creating a positive and engaging learning environment where children can thrive.

We recognise and respect that each child is unique, with their own preferences and comfort levels. We prioritise the well-being and individuality of each child, and they will never be forced to participate in any activities that they are not comfortable with. Whether it’s messy play or any other type of activity, we understand that children have different preferences and we ensure that their choices are respected.

Our room is thoughtfully designed to facilitate free-flow play and exploration. Each area within our nursery interlinks with adjacent areas, providing a seamless and integrated learning experience for the children. This layout encourages natural curiosity and allows children to explore different interests and engage in a wide variety of activities at their own pace.

We also place great emphasis on outdoor play and exploration. Our outdoor area provides a safe and supervised space where children can manage their own challenges and take measured risks. We encourage outdoor play as it promotes physical development, fosters a connection with nature, and allows children to engage their senses fully. In our sensory scent garden, children have the opportunity to explore various scents, textures, and sensory experiences, enhancing their overall development.

Throughout the session, children are given the opportunity to have a snack and can help themselves to water. We prioritize providing nutritious snacks, and our children learn about making healthy food choices. We believe in fostering independence and responsibility by allowing children to take care of their own needs within a supportive and supervised environment.

At Venn Boulevard Nursery, we create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where children can explore, play, and grow.
